Cadets Participate at UD Fly-In Breakfast

On April 15, 2012, several cadets from Dubuque Composite Squadron volunteered their time to help park cars at the annual UD Fly-In Breakfast. While high winds and cloudy skies prevented many planes from flying in, there were still a number of planes on display. Some of the owners were even kind enough to let several of the cadets sit inside of them.

The cadets who participated in the event were Cadets Sean and Keoni McCoy, C/Amn Erin Cram, Cadet Colton Hoover, C/SSgt Trenton Grierson, C/2d Lt Noah Schuetz, C/1st Lt Isaac Schuetz, and C/1st Lt Nathan Schuetz.

C/SSgt Grierson stated, “I had fun seeing friends and talking to them during the breakfast.” He added, “I think it was a fun and useful time.” C/2d Lt Noah Schuetz also “enjoyed helping park and direct vehicles.”

All of the cadets thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the event.
